Freestyle

Here is another way to look at the results from Friday’s Freestyle. Since these riders won’t be meeting up like this for quite a while and Freestyle’s change quite often, I am showing a graphic for each of the 15 riders. I don’t do that in public for the Grand Prix and the Special as its important to share that directly with the riders involved so they can quantify their strengths and weaknesses and include that knowledge in their training programs.
What I show is a little tricky to understand. I compare the coefficient-corrected score for each figue in the Technical part of the test with the average score they achieved (averaged over the 7 judges and over each figure). The bars above the zero axis show figures that pulled them up, the bars below show figures that pulled them down. Then I do the same thing for the Artistic notes. By definition there must be as many points above axis as below the axis.
